@dmswart: yeah, kind of a "money down the drain" sort of piece. ;-)

[Although, I see that the Dow did well today.]

@Abby Lanes: thanks. I've got to try out a few other ideas, but I just don't seem to have the time right now. (My real life keeps intruding on my play time).

"In God we trust" that's why our economy is falling to smithereens, LOL !

@Erroba: I, too, found a certain irony in that. Better than having it say something like "In Banks We Trust" or "In Mortgage Companies We Trust" or "In Wallstreet We Trust," I suppose. ;-)

@Roebot: Thanks. But why should I change the license?

Roebot  Pro User  says:

@fpsurgeon Well, I would have loved to use this image in a blog post and provide a link and attribution to you. If you employed a CC attrib license you would find many orders of magnitude increase in interest for your work because others could then use your work and attribute you. For example, I've had photos in the Wall Street Journal Health Blog, NY Times Blog, online magazines, etc.

With the correct Creative Commons license you can still insure you get paid by people who make money from your work, but also allow people like me to become evangelists for your work.

@Roebot: Sounds interesting, but all someone has to do is ask my permission to use it. This gives me the chance to see how it's going to be used first.

Congratulations on the birth of your son, btw.

Money Market Expert says:

Day by day, with every passed measure and regulation. With every billion dollar bankout package that is passed, the wealth of our fathers and our grandfathers and our children is drained away. What will happen when the government simply can't bail anyone else out? Will we still crash? And will all of that invested money have been for naught? I don't know about you guys but I don't like the idea of throwing away trillions of dollars. Trillion is a really large number. Almost to big for human comprehension.

In times like these we need to be careful, we need to be informed. Over at Money Market we can show you which banks are stable and have the best rates.

Hey, we're not printing money anymore, we're legislating it into existence!

fpsurgeon  Pro User  says:

@Money Market Expert: You're right. And it's terrifying, in fact. We thought that the problem was caused by cheap money...and so the fix is by making money "free" (i.e., government bailouts)?!! Yikes...

@unixrulz37: Hahaha! Isn't that the truth!
