I could not resist having a bit of fun with this photograph - the four male mallards really do look like they are busy gossiping about the odd duck with its back to them.

It's funny how we so often give human interpretations to animal actions, and that gossiping is so identifiable that we can do the same thing with that! I wanted to thank you for releasing this; I've used it at my blog Alphabet Soup Kitchen with full attribution and a link. Again, thank you.

Great gossiping ducks! Love it! Thank you for putting this up with a Creative Commons license. We are working on a movie for teaching writing to ESL students.
