I read somewhere that your awake cycle is a biological thing that goes all the way back to when we were a tribal system. There are people who get up early, there are people who stay up all night, and a range in between, so that there would always be someone to metaphorically guard the fire. Me, left to my own devices, I go to bed at 3 am and get up at 10 am. This nine to five thing, it's a bit of a killer.

I get up at 6 and go to bed at 11. So, you know, there's like three hours where there's a good chance of tiger noms.

(not a euphemism)

Left to MY own devices I've found I seem to work on a 28-hour cycle. During one particularly intense product development cycle I wrapped around and got back in sync with the marketing people.
