Best Friends

I was very reluctant to post this photo...we were well into our second margaritas and breaking in the new hot tub. And, come on, in our 50's, in bathing suits, on Flickr??? You gotta be kidding!

I still don't think anyone (including me) really wants to see three old ladies in a hot tub. But those of you that requested this photo...you know who you are!

We have been best friends for over 45 years...and Terry and Gayle promised a visit once the pool was done. That's me in the middle, Terry (White Dog) on the right and her sister Gayle (Round Hat Ranch) on the left.

...Yep, it's three old ladies in a hot tub! And, boy, did we have a great time that night!

My husband (also a Terry) ended up as the bartender, photographer and chef for the night, but finally went to bed when we hit the piano and started singing.

I used to think that everyone had best friends from childhood...but I've known for a long time now, how precious this friendship is and I treasure it daily.
