Wild at Heart
This morning Pritt brought me a present. I wasn't too happy with it, but he was really proud. In the afternoon I saw him playing with a sparrow in my garden. The sparrow was screaming and other birds were attacking Pritt. I went out to the garden and relieved the sparrow from his/her pain. I feel bad about killing it, but I didn't want it to suffer any longer by Pritts playing. It's nature, I know, but I'm glad he doesn't catch a bird everyday.
And yes: I gave him a bell. First of all, it didn't help, he is such a good hunter, he still caught some mice and birds. Second of all, he found out how to get rid of it.

Wow, gorgeous shot. It's a present it brings you although his eyes tell different.
You asked about the dark spots in my little pony's photo. It is a part of a fencing. I wanted to shoot them on eye level and had to put my lens agains the fencing. (not a good photoshopper jet so ...... and I did not want to crop it further)

I hate it when ours kills things and unfortunately he's a fairly prolific very skilled hunter. Over the last month there have been endless mice, a few birds (Including a Magpie!) and three Rabbits. We managed to save one of the Rabbits. He likes to bring them indoors to finish them off so the hallway looks like a killing field most of the time. Like you say it's nature but it's still horrible. Great shot.
