Reflection Lake and Mt. Rainier

Reflection Lake and Mt. Rainier

One from the archives. I've been out of commission for a while. I finally had surgery on my shoulder last week, after a year of struggling to find a solution for it. Hopefully I'll be back behind my camera soon!

Exercise to Make Your Body Last a Lifetime

Exercise to Make Your Body Last a Lifetime

I put together several video clips so you can see them in action. I'm trying to remember to use the video on my 7D!

As usual, no need to comment :0) For those who haven't yet seen, I'm taking maybe a few months off from Flickr commenting. You can read the note on my profile page if you'd like more detail.

Thomas Kincaid Wannabe

Thomas Kincaid Wannabe

I never tire of this magical view out my dining room window. I'm trying to figure out what I need to do to process it so it looks like a Kincaid painting. I used an Orton type effect. Any other ideas???

I'm buried in work right now and shouldn't do anything with pictures, but I couldn't resist taking a few shots of the snow.

I believe the ranger said he was an Arctic fox, but I don't remember for sure.

In the Shadow of the Snowy

In the Shadow of the Snowy

Back to our trip last weekend to Damon Point in Ocean Shores, WA for the snowy owls. What a fabulous day! The darker owl in the background is a younger one, not yet turned white. The foreground one is what, 2 years old or so? still not as white as a full-grown bird. I put an article link in the post a couple days ago that explains why they're showing up south of their normal territory this year, if you're interested.
