No, it's not true ! I have not closed my account but someone did it for me - I'm now completely naked and obliged to open another account ! A devil entered my account and asked Flickr to close my account and Flickr beleived it - they did not send me a message they simply erased my account - I had just paid my second year on Flickr !
Isn't it crazy ?????
And I still love you, Lord Vader :-)))

No, Olivier, Flickr said "someone" entered my account and order to close the gallery. Flickr had done it and the photos are lost. On a blog, I read that if - in your account - you push by mistake on the item down the page "do you want to quit Flickr" - your gallery is erased and the pictures are lost forever.
Your pictures are lost everywhere on Flickr (in the groups, in other albums.......) you also lose your friends, your groups, your com's, your story with flickr,............ thats why it's good to keep the exact name of your best friends in your fav' or in a paper.
I need two cats to console me - do you let me take yours :-))
