It is so different the the previous shot you
posted. Ancient and modern are so profoundly
different in the two examples. I like
variety and you provide quite a bit of it.

Thanks nrcop - I see both styles as relevant
- they are equally remarkable.

Having spent many an hour in this building,
but not in a few years, I am curious. Did
you enhance / change the colours in the
photo? The red of the ramp was not nearly so
intense when I was there, in fact was more of
a brown. And the blue of the light baffle
was much more muted, too (and the baffle
itself is much larger here than in the
previous iteration)(?). I also wonder about
the yellow light or glass in the upper window
behind the baffle. In short, the colours as
seen in the photo are much more Corbusian
than we usually see (even if recording
previous realities of the space). Thus this
may be my favorite photo ever of this space!

John thanks for the archidose :-)
Ben - yes you're right the colours are much
more muted in reality. This is an HDR (High
Dynamic Range) image - mixed and tone mapped
to bring out the resonance of the space. More
images to come of this wonderful building

ho visitato questa stupenda villa di corbu
nel '90, le mie diapositive di allora non
sono granchè, le tue plendide foto mi hanno
fatto tornare indietro di circa 20 anni
promenade architecturale all'ennesima
potenza.
