"...Pandora si fece vincere dalla curiosità femminile e volle aprire il vaso che Zeus le aveva regalato come dono di nozze. Aprendo il vaso, Pandora fece uscire fuori tutti i mali del mondo che presto si sparsero per tutta la Terra. Sul fondo del vaso rimase soltanto la speranza , che non fece in tempo ad allontanarsi prima che il vaso venisse chiuso di nuovo. Prima di questo momento l'umanità aveva vissuto libera da mali, fatiche e preoccupazioni quotidiane. Dopo l'apertura del vaso, il mondo divenne un luogo desolato ed inospitale, finché Pandora lo aprì nuovamente per far uscire anche la speranza...."
E la speranza rimase per sempre, fino ai giorni nostri !!! :-)
