Great Job! It looks, from this, as if Apple is already selling it to peeps.

I wonder, though, why do we even need this product? iPod plus Macbook pro 13 inch. Does Apple need to say more?

Nice job! did you use a picture of an iPod Touch on a table, then edit the touch into a tablet in PS?

Nice done, but think about the headphone port, would it be on the bottom of such a large device?

uh... with the size of the headphones, it's the size of an iphone

    20. Fotoboer.nl (40 months ago | reply)

      Well not quite,
first of all there is the aspect of perspective,
second the earbuds with the iphone are 3.6 cm long, the iPhone is 6 cm on the narrow side. So as you can tell from this 2 earbuds can stretch over your iphone easy!
If I look at my image, two buds can never make this same stretch, so your comment makes no sense?

In this scene, the two buds are the same size. The perspective projection makes them different in this rendering and the one in the front appears larger then the one in the back, all very natural if you ask me. The size of this virtual device is 21 x 15 cm in the 3d software. The earplugs approx. true size +/- 1 mm.

      Regards, Jeroen.

Well looks pretty close in the end. I can't bele
ive how much it is just a stretched iphone. like even the lockscreen, headphone port and everything are the same

Yep not too bad huh? I was surprised about it too, but i think the concept is good that's why I made my thing in the first place. Not to produce a mockup, but to produce a better couch webbrowsing experience product. I never even heard a rumor back in january, there were rumors at that time but i was not aware of them. Anyway at the time that i made this in januari 2009 i had nothing with apple, i had an iphone and was happy with that thing i didn't own a mac.

Yeah I made some concepts on flickr during the week this was made

    25. Fotoboer.nl (40 months ago | reply)

I was just checking out your account, your mockup was also all over the place, looked pretty sharp too, i must add! Did you make that in photoshop?

    26. ThePerfectPixel (40 months ago | reply)

Thanks! Well I have multiple, they were made in MS Paint before I got a mac, and they took me weeks! haha. The ones in the "Apple Tablet" Were done in MS Paint, then my latest was made in a program called "Pixelmator" for the Mac, I don't want to spend 1,000 on PS
