Spam

Well isn't that a comfort?
American flavor?!!! Huh?
"SPAM fits into my hectic lifestyle. Why, I'm so busy, I forgot to get a new cel phone!" ^_^
Motorola Ultra Classic. Phone, hammer, weapon and wheel chock all in one handy device.
Soylent Green....Is... PEOPLE!!!!!!!!
You KNOW you ordered the tee shirt!
You're damn skippy I did!!!!
What's left?! :)
Well at least it still has plenty 'o sodium nitrite to preserve its otherworldly pinkish color.
Probably the can thats celebrating it's 70 years
Probably. The can is practically bullet proof. Go figure soldiers pack it with 'em.
This is what you get after you run it through a SPAM filter. :-)
Spam by Sam Foster.
I have a morbid fascination with Spam. Perhaps its being part Hawaiian? I was listening to the song, Spam by Save Ferris. The song always gives me a chuckle. It also gave some inspiration. For better or worse.

So, here's the start of the Spam Series and the Spam beauty shot. Remember.."its SPAM!!! Its pink and its awful!!" The folks at Hormel don't take themselves or their Spam too seriously. Click here to visit the Official Spam page. Its an amusing read...

Oh, the folks at Spam are all about diversity. There's numerous varieties, such as:
Spam Low Sodium
Spam Lite
Spam Bacon
Spam Oven Roasted Turkey
Spam Hot and Spicy
Spam Spread
Spam Cheese
Spam Garlic
Spam Honey
and of course Spam Classic

a culinary chamber of horrors.

Oh, I forgot Hickory Smoked flavored...

I took a gander at the website - funny stuff. I especially love the "waaauauauauargh - uh, that's my sound. It gets really tiring on super long drives" - Spammobile. It sounds like Joel from MST3K!

And I had no idea you could buy single-serve SPAM. Thanks, Sam!

I like the color blue too and I was born in Hawaii, so although I'm not Hawaiian I feel a special connection to Spam, .... besides it's delicious fried! That's how my momma used to make it... =)

ingredients in the Classic variety of Spam are: chopped pork shoulder meat with ham meat added, salt, water, sugar, and sodium nitrite to help "keep its color."

Having a pair Dutch grandparents, I've had more than my share of Spam when growing up. :)

Love the comments about the cellphone. I almost fell off my seat reading them.

Sam, I know what you mean about this one beating Explorable photos. I thought the same thing about my cookies photo.

I remember seeing one of those Explore banner shots created by the FD tools make it in Explore. I don't remember who the flickr user was.

Has anybody else seen Spamalot-? it's the best thing on in the West End at the moment.

I think there's actually a group on Flickr for pinhole and toy camera enthusiasts. I recall seeing instructions on how to make a couple of different ones.

I was supposed to see Spamalot the last time I was in Vegas, but it was sold out.
