White orchid (better)
This is a slightly touched up version of White Orchid.

UPDATE: I'm very happy to say that this picture has been used in Sophie Addisons fundraising book White as a colour! All proceeds from the sale of this book will go to the MS Society of Canada.
UPDATE 2: It's a tremendous honor that this photo has been chosen as one of 16 user contributed photos to be included in Ubuntu Linux 9.10 (Karmic Koala). Here's a screenshot.
UPDATE 3: Ubuntu 10.04 is being released on April 29 2010. For this release 16 other photos has been chosen to be included. I was lucky enough to be asked to help pick photos for the shortlist, and two of the ones I picked was used.
If you really like this photo and/or some of the others chosen for inclusion in Ubuntu 9.10, you can get them all in 10.04 and later with just a few clicks. Open Synaptic and search for "ubuntu-wallpapers-extra".

I was on the edge with this one, but ultimately I think what I believe is a PS cutout is not enough to propel what is fundamentally a boring flower shot.

It’s an unusual nice macro. The colors’ contrasts are great, but the focus is not perfect. The blurry part of the color part annoys me. I’ll pass this one.

Haven't been here long enough to know whether it belongs in the deleteme safe, but I like it a lot. Nice composition, nice backlighting, nice depth, really nice focus vs out of focus. Like it large.

Jim Skea: Ok, but is it ok if I just remove the last deleteme vote instead. He voted deleteme2, the last one is deleteme4. It will be easier to remove that tag instead of removing deleteme2-4 and then adding deleteme2-3 again.
