Trying our the Dave Hill Effect on my step Son Daniel he likes the look I have to say ..... also off camera flash Nissin 1622 Mk2 with lastolite ezybox camera left... the shadow is from the sun as used 2 stop filter to lower light levels was midday when shot

meet Dan my step son bless him he even vounteered for these i have just got a lastolite speedlite soft box.... so with cord attached and fading light we wnet on the beach to experiment ... have to say as this is sooc very impressed ... let me know what you think will be playing about a bit more when time allows

info flash nissini466 handheld off to my left . ttl on exp -2.7 (ohhh ang on exif says -4.9 which is wayyyyy too low) for the background bit low inmho as was no where near this dark and i darkened it too much with that setting ...

Ou and about with cam and filters first real stretch of the gear since getting it ... happy with this one aprt from the blur due to being handheld and too much caffeine and walking

may try swinging the light shaft as it is asking to be pointing at the Abbey

visist to Thirlmere testing out my new D300 (new to me practically brand new) ...

New area and loads to trial so was rushed .... will be back as seen loads of potential areas to try this is my usual slow water shot .... could have been sooo much slower but wanted to rush about to try out several shots then will return.
