Another drive bites the dust

second time a drive has died in this macbook - cant believe its happened again - worst thing is that I 'borrowed' Time machine backup disc I use normally (since last time i lost everything) for something else 2 days ago and forgot to plug it back in to make a new full backup...

Freeze the drive in an airtight ziplock freezer bag for about 8 hours...then remove it and insert stratight into a drive caddy (don't wait for it to defrost)...chances are it'll work :)

tried that but not for 8 hours, however it's a moot point now as the new drive is in and being configured, at least I've got a nice clean system!
