Hue

Vietnam.

The imperial purple palace of Hue is another World Heritage Site, and not as purple as one is led to believe. Anyway, the inner palace is quite nice, though not as extraordinary as we'd hoped for most of it got bombed the shit out of in the Vietnam/US war. We took a boat trip on a massive boat with big colorful dragons flanking the sides to a bunch of tombs and temples. Very pretty place.
