Thakhek

Cave paradise...in the right season. Thakhek is home to the largest tunnel cave in SE Asia, 7km long, and you boat through. Unfortunately during monsoon the waters are too high so we couldn't do it, but the MANY surrounding caves would have also been amazing...if they weren't flooded too...So we saw one cave which was incredible with ancient Buddhas inside...though no picture allowed. Basically what this photo album is left with, is the gorgeous motorbike journey we took to the caves we couldn't go in!!! Still awesome pics, and a great day! Laos is amazing.
