I had set up in what I thought was a safe, dry place. There was a low concrete wall to block the waves. Nevertheless, I kept a wary eye on the sea. I was in the middle of the exposure when a out of nowhere, a huge wave crashed in.
At the last moment I grabbed my camera and ran. I got wet, very wet, and so did my camera, so I was thankful that it is (mostly) waterproof. Unfortunately I got the streaks of light which ruins an otherwise pleasing shot of the deep blues of pre-dawn.
So I think of this as the one that got away because after that, I wasn't taking my chances in that spot again. You win this time, ocean.

Not much. I deepened the blue a bit, and did a high-pass filter to sharpen it a bit. This is a throw away so I didn't waste much time processing it.
