A great aspect of this wonderful statue. I will have to visit the statue on our next visit to UK. I always see it in the distance from the motorway, but have never managed to see it close up.

Yes, you should see it close up crafty1tutu , it is very impressive. There is an information board onsite, which shows how much construction is under the statue also, it goes very deep.
