The nearby town of Nogent sur Seine (warning: French link) despite being a third the size of Romilly (Romilly is the second largest city after Troyes in the department of Aube) is actually more well known and can often be seen on maps and atlases whereas Romilly is not shown. This is partly due in fact to Romilly belonging to the district of Nogent (there are three districts in the department of Aube).
Nogent is known mainly for it's nuclear reactor, but riding the train through the outskirts of town one notices a heavy industry, looking out the window you can spot several factories, a recycling facility, a water bottle warehouse and distribution center, and other industries, all of which are (unlike the factories of Romilly) fully operational and functioning.
