Guess who got their first ever scanner today? (Courtesy of expenses too!) Be prepared for photo scans by the dozen :)

This is my favourite photo of my mum and I. Look what a chunkster I was :)

I think that grown-ups sort of went from teenagers to middle age overnight in the 80's...for the average person it really was the decade that fashion forgot. But you seemed to have escaped the awful pudding bowl kids haircut that I suffered in the 80's :)
You really look like your Mum now though, great pic.

I know taking a picture back then was the rage!! people actually co-ordinated what they wore...and made some really silly poses, at least my mum did...keke

Louos, those fashions were great, but they didn't actually make it to suburban English housewives for some reason, lol! I don't think the stripes were intentionally coordinated, and I wish someone had told my mum that horizontal stripes did nothing for little chubsters like me!!!
