The path to enlightenment

Place - Fort Kamalgad, Maharashtra, India
This place is a well situated on top of a fort called Kamal Gad near Wai-Mahabalshwar, Mah, India. You have to see it to beleive how beautiful it is. This gentleman happens to live on the fort and was very kind to show us around. I didn't ask him to pose for the picture neither did i played with the lighting or something. Just happened to be there at the right time :) Photoshop free.

about kamal gad - we reached the top at around 12. there's a dense forest on top of the fort so go there when there's a lot of daylight.
the route is pune - wai - dhom - asare - khavali - vasola -tupewadi (situated at the bottom of the fort)
you can see kenjalgad, mahabaleshwar, pratapgad, pandavgad, rajgad, purandar, rayreshwar and may be a couple of more forts and the backwaters of dhom and another dam. also the forest that surrounds the fort.
i dedicate this one to Soumitra. never intended to upload it. he insisted. this one's for you :)
