ExpressCard Adapter for CompactFlash Type I / II



This is a brief notice on how to install the Driver into your computer.



For detailed description, please open "User_Manual.pdf" in this CD

(you need to have Adobe Reader for opening this "User_Manual.pdf"

IMPORTANT :

This Adapter requires the installation of the driver provided in this CD disk.

Please must install the driver for the First-time Use of this Adapter

in your Notebook system.

A) Before installing the driver, please must have

---> your Adapter with CF card inserted into the ExpressCard Slot of

your computer





B) For Windows Vista / XP / 2000, the setup file should be popped up automatically

--> If not, double-click “Setup.exe” under the folder “Windows”



C) For Mac OS, double-click the file named “JMicronATADriver.pkg”under the folder "Mac"





D) For Windows Vista / XP / 2000, user is provided with two modes of operations, namely

i) Fast Removal Mode

ii) Performance Optimized Mode

E) Due to the difference in OS architecture between Windows and Mac,

only “Fast Removal Mode” is supported for Mac OS





F) To un-install the driver, please ensure that this Adapter with CF card had been

plugged-in the ExpressCard slot
