Do you ever have epiphanies that make you realize how content or how grateful you are? I think we're all guilty of taking things for granted sometimes but when you have one of those moments, it really puts things into perspective. I was telling someone that when I lived in London, I would run up the stairs to my flat and realize in mid step that I am living in Europe and that I just rode the tube home from a visit to the pub with great friends. It definitely put a smile to my face every time I thought about that. We stand to be content more often :)

Not too much creativity behind this one at all. It's just been a crazy busy week at work and we had a little too much to drink (correction, I had a little too much to drink) to start the weekend. I think I was starting to see bokeh in real life after a number of pints and shots, and surprise concoctions on Friday night. Anyway, I hope you all had a great week this week and that you had a good weekend as well. It's already March...

Is it already the 9th week of 2012 already? I'm not sure if it is the same with you but I am an early riser and when I can bring myself up to it, I love days when I get up, drive myself to my favorite coffee shop, and have a walk in the neighborhood with my camera. The weather couldn't be better either - sunny, dry, and a cool, crisp bite in the air. Some new signs of life were popping up around the area so it was a good time to bring out the camera.

Hope you've all had a good week. Thank you for all your comments, I read every single one of them so I really do appreciate the comments and the good thoughts. I have 2 other appointments for baby photos coming up in the next few weeks already. I also have to start uploading some of the photos requested from Getty but with over 1.5gbs of photos to send through, it's a little daunting :S. Hi everyone. Remember that maternity shoot I did? Well, little Emily popped out within 24 hours of the shoot and here she is! At least, here her tiny feet are. Hard to believe how small they are at this age - still, she holds a huge place in the happy parent's lives already and it's easy to see why. This is my first baby shoot and it was a bit challenging as I was just not really sure what kind of frames to shoot but I hope the parents like the pictures. Thanks again for letting me practice on you guys :)

It's been a tough week but I know things happen for a reason. I'm a proud person even though I may not be the loudest person on the planet. More than proving myself to others, it's about knowing that I am doing my part and doing it on my own. I guess there will always come a time when you're denied or rejected but there's no point in feeling dejected or down on yourself. It's just best to pick yourself up, move on and prove them wrong. And I will do just that.

While I'm glad it's Friday, I almost kind of want to just sit still right about now. It's been one of those days. Goes to show you that you should never put too much hope into any one thing.

Anyway, HFF everyone.

First off, thank you all for the unreal comments on the maternity photos on my last posting. It meant a lot as it was my first session and if I had to be honest, it felt really awkward doing it to begin with. But I am glad that you enjoyed it. I may be doing their baby photos as well when things quiet down for them so you may be seeing some of those photos soon.

Hope you all have had a great weekend so far. It's already the end and we have another Monday to contend with tomorrow. Best of luck to you all lol. It's a constant battle I tell you.
