      It's amazing that you're getting such a great 40s look with HotSticks. I used them almost daily back in the 90s for the big poufy look that was "in" at the time (I never would've dreamed of brushing out the curls!). I went through quite a few sets of rollers due to them wearing out or whatever, and thankfully I still have two little-used sets so I can try out your tutorial!
