This afternoon I spied these snowdrops growing along a hedgerow.
The BBC weathermen tell us that there is going to be snow next week but I dare say these hardy little flowers will survive the bleak weather.
This is my first sighting of snowdrops this year.
Everything seems to be flowering early - we have had such a mild Winter.
Better not speak to soon.

We came across these daffodils about 2 days ago. There were a lot more scattered around the farm but I concentrated on this little lot.

The farmer whose property they were on said that they had been flowering since two weeks before Christmas.

It must be something to do with the mild Winter we have had.

Hope the frost and cold weather which has developed over the last two day does not kill them off.

The sunset last night was awesome. Just had to get my camera out and take a shot.
