[11-11-2011] - Straws

[11-11-2011] - Straws

Camera: Holga 120N
FIlm: Ilford Delta 400
Location: Seattle Center - Seattle, Washington
Sculpture - Olympic Iliad by Alexander Liberman

If liquids had the capability to have nightmares I believe it would look something like this. Orange juice, coffee, sodas and the like squirming in their sleep as numerous straws bare down on them from every angle attempting to extract them.

[11-10-2011] - SAM's Chair

Camera: Holga 120N
Film: Ilford Delta 400
Location: SAM Olympic Sculpture Park - Seattle, Washington

The longer I look at this photograph the more I think the chair looks like a peanut with arm rests.

[11-9-2011] - Autumn Steps

[11-9-2011] - Autumn Steps

Camera: Holga 120N
Film: Ilford Delta 400
Location: Belltown - Seattle, Washington

I 'discovered' these steps while walking around the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle in route to the Olympic Sculpture Park. They lead up to a community p-patch. A return trip next fall is in order, when the deep autumn colors are at their best, and I have color film with me.

I have been told a time or two over the years that you can never truly appreciate Seattle and the Pacific Northwest unless you live somewhere else for awhile. To that my response is what if I love it so much I can't bare to leave?

For A Minute There I lost Myself

For A Minute There I lost Myself

Camera: Zero 2000 Pinhole
Film: Kodak Ektar 100
Exposure Time: 60 seconds - both exposures
Location: Quinault Rainforest - Olympic National Forest, Washington State

Its easy to lose yourself in the forest, especially one as old and grand as the Quinault. Each time I venture into the forest I am reminded of Mother Nature's artful hand and how her masterpieces are much grander than those created by man's hands.
