I noticed this guy during the midst of the football game - he had a real cocky attitude on the "pitch" and seemed to have some kinda presence on field. I tried to focus on him in my action shots of the game. After the match when he was carrying the makeshift goal off the beach I had a chance to ask him to pose for a portrait.

Later that evening we heard there was a great cover band that plays nightly in the local village bar. We headed for a few drinks after dinner and lo and behold he was the lead singer of the band. Guess he enjoys being the centre of attention.

The insanely beautiful landscape of Koh Phi Phi.. All was quiet before the throngs of tourists arrived and then more arrived and then more arrived..

One evening there was a game of football on the beach played by some local Thai Guys. I kept trying to keep the chap in the middle my centre of attention because his attitude and tattoos kinda fascinated me.. Was a really cool surprise to stumble upon this scene as it gave me something different to photograph on the Island since arriving..
