Rolex

Had a hard time finding the right environment in which to put this gorgeous Rolex watch.. I mean.. in what context do you place an item that stands so well on it's own?

Certainly, it would look great on black acrylic with a fierce reflection of itself... but hey, been there, done that.

My concept was to place it on this large wooden hand sculpture - on which, the watch is wrapped carefully around one of the fingers.

Lighting Info:
One 24x36 softbox to the back right, black scrims between the softbox and the hand to graduate the light from the back right corner of the image to the front, where there is still a highlight on the finger.. At the front, white foamcore reflectors are on the left of the watch, under the watch, and a combo of white and black reflectors on the right.... the black background is hung 8 feet away. Shot at f7.1, 1/200th
