marked "restricted"

what the hell? i have been labeling everything appropriately. photos with nudity are always marked "moderate." did some whiner complain? did I associate with the wrong group?

Oh, I've been there before too. Sucks. But it's an easy fix.

Full nudes should be set as "restricted" not "moderate." that's okay for topless and butt shots. You can refilter them and ask to be re-reviewed. Good luck. :)

Breasts and ass curves are moderate, anything that's showing lower then waste nudity, including pubic hair, even without actually showing any orifices is restricted.
On top of that, using certain words in tags that suggest those body parts, may also be a reason for restricting your account.

Shockingly enough, those rules apply to both photograph and also, drawing, illustration sculptures and so on so that if you have, let say, a photo of Micheal Angelo's "David" it should also be restricted being that it show genitalia.

It sucks. I'm sorry oyu have to deal with it.

Ah, now you too. Flickr made my entire stream restricted but never never never reacted on any of my mails asking for a review.

So - views dropped from several thousend to a few hundred a photo :-) and nothing can be done about it.

I had the same problme some weeks ago. In my mind, moderate was for 'classical' nudes and restricted was for explicit pictures.
So all my nudes was moderate and I'be become restricted (3 years after I've created this account !).

So I have to change all nudes in Restricted, because the line betweed moderate and restriced wasn't clear for me and their FAQ (I've ask Flickr several time the difference, no answer).

After doing this (takes a lots of time with 5000 pictures) I've asked review of my acound and the 2 first was no, still restricted.

I've asked : what's wrong ? give me an example ? and I discover than Flikr want fetish pictures (no nudes and soft) in restricted, no moderate. I've change the most 'dangerous' and after 2 days I'm back again safe.

My advice, when you change in the organiser the level of your pictures when you're restricted, add a tag restrited is these pictures.
Why ? because as All your pictures arestricted by Flickr, if you've to review again all your stream, you can see what you've change and what you don't.
