is it primal?ie was there fear before there was reason to fear. alternately, without fear would there not exist laughter? would there be no jokes?(Freud?)

Interesting thoughts. I'm not a big Freudian actually. Without fear, anger, sadness and frustration ( in all shapes and forms), I guess there would be no jokes. Why would there be?

I also believe people with more empathy have a greater sense of humour and businessprofessionals tend to take themselves too seriously.
