seconds anybody?

Ralph, our pet golden orb spider (well not pet as such it lives in a tree near the front gate) captured a bee today. These little flies were eating the bee while the spider was. But I could not get a shot of both of them as Ralph kept running away.

 

Later in the day Ralph got another bee and it also attracted these little flies.

 

I have also seen these little bees feeding on another dead bee ..... but never on any other dead insects I have found .......
