Sugar-tan

Sugar is the name of the user interface on the XO laptop. Sugar-tan is the name of the personification of Sugar UI. ("Tan" is a childish mispronunciation of the Japanese honorific suffix, "chan".)

Unlike most cosplayed characters, Sugar-tan was created backwards. The costume came before the drawing.

I mocked up the antennae in Photoshop. I'll be making real ones because I think they're a good idea and enhance the costume.

I'm thinking of wearing this costume to Fanime.
