i think its a really beautiful painting. i
really love the colors and, should I say,
angles in it. would love to see in the flesh
as something is always lost in a painting
when your not physically in front of it.
Thank you so much everyone! It's very funny
you should say that taffsdad because,
although it is a painting of a Bird of
Paradise flower, I had a phoenix rising from
the flames in mind whilst I painted it! Well
interpreted!

I really enjoy the muscle and physicality
of your paint. Very cool piece of painting.
And I can see what you mean about wanting us
to see it in the flesh... it looks like
you've got loads of colours hidden in layers
there, that are just being obscured by the
two-dimensionality of your camera.

Ouch, I'm an art illiterate, I don't think I
should be judging this... It looks like
interesting work and great use of colors, but
it's not my cup of tea, I guess...
I do not usually comment on paintings on
Flickr, but this piece was so nice I had to.
Very beautiful. I'm a Flickr Whore. Are you?

I love it, and the colours are glorious.
Love vibrant orange and blue together, and
the dark background helps to make it stand
out. Wonderful work.

Thank you so much everyone! I'd love to set
up prints of this but sadly I can't find any
English sites that will do it and the
American sites won't do it because I'm
English. If anyone has any ideas of how I can
get around this then please let me know. PS I
can't afford to publish a load of prints
myself.

Full of interesting colour and texture. I'm
not sure how well it's possible to capture
this in a photo but that's a pretty good
attempt. Perhaps a slightly stronger flash
would highlight the tactile quality more.
