Pumpkin Night

WOO HOO My photo got Flickr Blogged!!!!

tonight is pumpkin cutting and carving night.... we have 13 pumpkins plus little ones to do up ... .anyone have any cool links to pumpkin faces ..... last year it took us forever to just come up with 5 faces .....

anyone got any ideas?

and what does everyone do with their pumpkin insides too !?!? we make soup .... or pumpkin bread ....or pumpkin chilli .... but mostly pumpkin soup :)

Tomorrow is Halloween woooooooooooooo! favourite holiday ever!

OCTOBER 31st UPDATE
have had no time to put up a photo today ...just working on the front of the house and then have to clean my house for company .... don't know if i am going to have time for that ... still have so much today ...but but but i can't wait to see the kids faces .... its not like last years pumpkins ...but its still cool !

ooh so great Michelle. I love this. I am not very creative when it comes to pumpkin faces I know you can get stuff off the internet. I'm afraid i throw the inside away, I made soup once and it was not worth the effort. Hope you have a great time!

Hey Michelle, If you have large and small pumpkins I always think the cannibal pumpkins look cool. If you search it in google you'll see what I mean. We roast pumpkin seeds last night and they were delicious. The pumpkins you made last year look great :)

Roast the seeds in the oven and sprinkle with salt or chilli fakes or both ... yummy. Also roast the flesh sprinkled with brown sugar and cinnamon. Love the pumpkins from last year, very creative!

There's the best one in Heat magazine this week ~ it's a big pumpkin with a huge mouth and one side is slightly opened and there's a little pumpkin wedged in there being eaten. There's also another with a big 'O' shaped mouth with the pumpkin seeds spilling out like it's been sick! Brilliant!
Yours are fab too. Having said I don't do anyting for halloween, I'd love to have a pumpkin, shame I'm away all day tomorrow and out at a ball tomorrow night. Hope you have a wonderful time and don't get tricked!
