~ Vanessa Bell, 30 May 1879 - 7 April 1961, at Asheham House, her sister,
Virginia Woolf's house in Sussex. She was the daughter of Sir Leslie Stephen
and Julia Prinsep Jackson Duckworth Stephen, and sister to Virginia, Thoby

Thoby's death. She had two sons, Julian and Quentin with Clive Bell,
and a
daughter, Angelica, with the artist Duncan Grant.
Her country home in Sussex, Charleston Farmouse, she set up with Duncan
Grant was an important home and meeting place for the Bloomsbury Group
outside London, and is now the only fully restored house in the world
that is
entirely decorated with art works by the resident artists.

I love Vanessa & her sister, they've always taken such wonderful portraits & made photos in their own right.

They were both wonderful. I feel so sad for Virginia. Without her illness she may have written who knows what.

thanks all =)
timechaser ~ perhaps it was because of her illness that she got to write so many
good novels, plus the fact theat her family was quite illustrious in that way
