Here in the United States, journalists are losing their jobs in droves, because the "business model" of daily newspapers hasn't kept up with the reality of free online classifieds. I'm so glad to see you are doing the work of a journalist, documenting history, and using this new technology to do it. Carry on. This is important work!

I would first like to thank the photographer for his bravery and courage for going to Iran and allowing us to see the events first-hand. Secondly, I would like to thank all the Iranian protesters that have, and are, putting their lives on the line for their country, their beliefs, and the rest of the world, including here at home in the United States. We are all behind you, may you all be safe and finally bring this tyranny down!

Thanks to the journalists out there who are actually covering news for once. What's happening in Iran hasn't happened since 1979. We could be witnessing a revolution, and CNN and Faux News are talking about the Letterman-Palin controversy.

Thanks to those out there actually doing journalism

Thought is energy and because of this energy the external world has been created. Just as the atomic bomb was created from thought. So can peace.

OM SHANTI SHANTI
Peace be with you
As the sun seecks shelter
and darkness appears
When you know who you are
you will fear nothing and therefore leave
in peace

The awareness
to the importance of freedom all around our earth
is HERE!

Thank you for all the info
Blessings to you and all those around you.

I have to agree with White Rabbit and iPodAddict in their posts above. The violence is unfortunate but in many cases it is the ONLY thing that is understood by the tyrants. Our thoughts and prayers are completely with the people in Iran who are at this moment fighting for their homeland. I just regret that its very unlikely that they'll get any material help from our politicians who are now in charge. Our leaders prefer to talk about the "great debate" taking place in Iran. They need to wake up and realize that its not a debate. Iran's people are standing up for their god-given rights and the establishment is shooting them or beating them with sticks. America as a whole needs to stand firmly with the protesters and help them in any way possible!
