well it magnetizes us to incidents...it's the whole sliding doors scenario...the idea of 'what if'. the domino chain of events a different turn can take. incidents are there everywhere all the time - what decides which incident we become involved in...yes we can make decisions for ourselves, but some things are beyond our control...

(disclaimer - i am a hopeless dreamer who believes in fate! oh and a rambler!)
