Eye

You are truly a very beautiful woman and you captured a lovely moment in your photograph.

Did you do something to smooth the skin?

A little, but not a ton her skin is amazingly smooth.. I did sharpen the eye a bit which shows a bit of contrast between the soft skin and lots of detail in the eye.

Technical Details: Shot with a Canon 20D and Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS lens. Shot in RAW and converted/processed by Adobe camera RAW and Photoshop. Shot from a bit below the subject with her head tilted back a bit to get the perspective I wanted... I shot it at f/2.8 to get a very shallow DoF on her eye.

Lighting Details: Two Photogenic 1250 strobes one to the right of the subject with a Photogenic 4"x3" softbox, the other strobe to the model's left, shot bare pointed at the ceiling to get a bounced light source. Triggered with Pocket Wizard's.

@klj_francis: Regarding your note, a little was done (layered blur, blended in a bit) but not much at all on the skin tone... she has really great skin, and had make-up on knowing we were going to be photographing her husband and her. I did sharpen the eye to help draw focus to it.

I can see where some of the skin smoothing was done - around the bottom right, it stands out where you've missed spots (looks like scarring).
