Wonderful shot. Looks like you have a very high perspective. Most of my tide water glacier shots are taken from the water and do not give much of the ice flow comming to the face.

Thanks for the invites and comments. @bud: yes the photo was taken from the coast at the opposide side of the lake, which is rather steep. The glacier almost divides the lake into two parts. We've been literally staring at it for hours - so if you ever go to patagonaia, this is a must see.

You posted this on my birthday and I can't imagine a more momentous gift. It looks like icing on a birthday cake the size of Manhattan, which happens to be where I was born. But this is Patagonia, possibly the prettiest place on the planet, and a far cry from New York City. You convey the majesty of Moreno with utter purity here.
