Petco Park is an open-air ballpark in downtown San Diego, California, USA. It opened in 2004, replacing Qualcomm Stadium as the home park of Major League Baseball's San Diego Padres. Before then, the Padres shared Qualcomm Stadium with the National Football League's San Diego Chargers. Petco Park is named after the pet supplies retailer Petco, which is based in San Diego and paid for the naming rights. Petco Park is regarded as one of the finest stadiums in Major League Baseball.

California, San Diego. Muelle Broadway.

California, San Diego. Muelle Broadway.

The Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier sits on scenic San Diego Bay along San Diego's North Embarcadero, a tourist mecca. It is a building that embodies the San Diego region's rich maritime history, while featuring some of the most forward thinking elements of modern environmental design.

The Port Pavilion is a dual-purpose facility. It serves as a cruise ship terminal when the nearby B Street Cruise Ship Terminal is accommodating two ships and a third ship needs a berth.

Bahía de San Diego. Portaaviones USS Midway

Bahía de San Diego. Portaaviones USS Midway

USS Midway (CVB/CVA/CV-41) was an aircraft carrier of the United States Navy, the lead ship of her class. Commissioned a week after the end of World War II, the Midway was the largest ship in the world until 1955, as well as the first U.S. warship too big to transit the Panama Canal. A revolutionary hull design, based on the planned Montana-class battleship, gave her better maneuverability than previous carriers. She served for an unprecedented 47 years, saw action in the Vietnam War, and was the Persian Gulf flagship in 1991's Operation Desert Storm. Decommissioned in 1992, she is now a museum ship at the USS Midway Museum, in San Diego, California, and the only remaining U.S. aircraft carrier of the World War II era that is not an Essex-class aircraft carrier.
