I have seen fabric stored in tall bookcases, but never in low ones under a window. This is a great use of space, plus it keeps the direct sunlight off the fabric.

I wish all fabric stores had comfy chairs -- i'm disabled and my trips to shops of any kind have to planned ahead of time. I could spend all day in fabric shops, and would appreciate being able to rest for a few minutes, before seaching through all the rows of fabric and other sewing goodies again. You have beautiful shelves and who wouldn't love that chair! LOL
