I guess seeing the students at my local school get all fired up about democracy inspired me.
I think that we all need to take a step back from the television, open a voter guide (on or offline) and do what we can to honor the sacrifices that have been made for us on the battlefields and off.
We have been given a great and precious gift. When we choose not to exercise our right to vote, we dishonor that gift.
Please vote, on November 7th and as long as you are able. Your children will thank you for it some day.
