Changing Channels, Changing Media

Changing Channels, Changing Media by farlane.
Siegel, Arthur S., photographer. 1939

Royal Oak, Michigan. A family listening to the radio and reading Father Coughlin's newspaper "Social justice"

LC-USW3-016733-C in the Library of Congress

This photo appears on Death of the Newspaper ... Birth of Local Media? on Absolute Michigan. I uploaded it here because the LOC makes it really hard to link to and use photos.

I thought it was interesting in that this photo is 1939 and newspapers today STILL employ much the same business model.

I love the Library of Congress. I could spend the whole day there I think.
