Mobile Bay, Alabama
Goldenrod used to the the state flower of Alabama, but it was replaced
by camellia in the 1960s. Too bad, in my opinion, as camellia was an
import from Asia whereas as goldenrod is native. It gets a bad
reputation with allergy sufferers because it hangs out with ragweed.
