(I'm sure this has been done before but I feel the need to do it for myself.)
I recently had to write a paper for an English Lit class describing what is it about my "favorite vacation spot" that I love the most. Of course I chose Disneyland, and while it would seem easy enough to write a narrative about the Happiest Place on Earth.. it was far from easy. Sure you can describe the sights and sounds to a "T" but we don't go to the park just to see the park, at least I don't. There's no other way to describe that feeling you get in the pit of your stomach as you drop on the Tower of Terror - even though you know its coming, or the laugh that escapes your lips as you listen to the spiel from Jungle Cruise - even though you've heard it so many times you could say it in your sleep, or even the pure nostalgia you get as you come up on the castle - the symbol for joy and happiness since 1955.
So, I'm happy to say that at least I received an A on my paper but it only got me started on a new project. "The little things about Disneyland that are often overlooked." Okay so the title sucks, but hopefully the project won't. But enough talking, or reading I suppose.
I hereby present to you the sights of Mickey's Toontown, where you can walk right into his house and meet the big cheese himself. It may not be the biggest land in the park but it's the best themed in my opinion.
