IamCaltrain Launches on new Yahoo Maps API

During Wiki Wednesday, me and Cal (from Flickr) put some work into IamCaltrain.com. Using the new Yahoo maps API seems to be working out pretty well so far. This is an app I've wanted for a long time and I'm psyched that Cal had me pitch in with the design.

Note: we desperately need icons for the station services. Anyone feel the urge to push pixels?!

To take full advantage of Flickr, you should use a JavaScript-enabled browser and
install the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player.

Nice job! Maybe you should link to Flickr and shots tagged "Tamien Station," "San Carlos Station," etc., for each station (as geobloggers.com does for GPS coordinates). I'm sure there are lots of transit geeks who'd like to contribute photos.

Cal actually had that built in already -- it might show up if you click on a station name. Otherwise, yes, we do intend to enhance the per-station info display with Flickr tastiness.

That and hilighting your origin and destination when you do a search!
