To me democracy is the ability to change your community, your country, and the world. I believe it is everyone’s responsibility to voice his or her opinion. The symbols in my photograph represent this belief. The hands in the photo are carefully carrying a globe, symbolizing that we have to look at our world and take care of it, making it a better place for everyone. Not everyone in the world is given this right that we more often than not take for granted.
