The variety and number of reactions to this picture is what amazes me.

There I am flogging myself nearly to death so as to achieve the virtually unachievable using willing and helpful models in ideal situations using most of the rules of art and photography only to have my efforts largely ignored by the voyeurs.

You, lucky devil, take a picture (quick snap), of a lady who looks as if she is really not happy about being photographed standing in front of Tower bridge with too much space above her head, and you are deluged with mostly platitudinous praise. What is your magic? I'm desperate to know!!

Is this the "new photography" where anything goes? Maybe I should join in. Apart from the potential confrontational situations it looks easy peasy.
