for someone like me who has a bit of anxiety
when it comes to other people-photography has
been helping me break those barriers.
this would be the ultimate test. awesome
idea. love the portraits. i hope i can do
something similar to this sometime. this
really does become a part of the history in
that city, eh?

At least you shot the project on film.. next
time I'd advise paying more attention to
focusing and metering the light though :)
Also scanning the negs with same settings
would help to make the colors look uniform
throughout the project.. But I suppose the
point of film is not to take
"normal" looking photos these days
anymore, it's "meant" for
lomo/holga/whatever artsy stuff.
If you are bored, inventing some kind of
little story to go with the photos would add
some extra flavor. Not neccessarily something
like in www.hel-looks.com/ - but hopefully it gives a general idea what
I'm talking about.
Edit2: During 1k photos you also could have
expiremented with different composition and
maybe ask the people do something than just
"stop! - pose", like sitting in a
bench reading newspaper etc.. Try different
apertures than just wide open, since I
usually surroundings add to interestingness.
Think about a set of five or ten best
photos.
I'm not implying you did all wrong and the
set sucks, these are merely some things which
came forward when I was discussing about the
set with my friends.

50/something Nikkor most likely. 1.4, 1.8 and
2 are all the same, and these don't look like
they were taken with a 1.2
