These are a few shots of my primary home office setup. I work from this desk most of the time, save for super-sunny mornings like this one, where I retreat to Desk No. 2 (sans direct sunlight).
My unibody MacBook gets docked to a 23" Cinema Display, which I use as my primary display. The MacBook usually houses Tweetie, iChat and other secondary apps.

I actually like the glossy displays MOST of the time. They are pretty much useless when hit with direct sunlight though...

I've tried the dock on the side a couple times, and I'm just not a big fan. It screws up my palette placements in the Creative Suite apps, and it's a bit wonky when switching between desks (as the MacBook sits to the right of the 23" display and to the left of the 20").
Ideally, wish I could set it to the bottom, always showing when docked to a monitor, but auto-hidden when running just on the MacBook. I suppose I just need to memorize the key combo for Hide/Un-Hide...
